After registration at Holland Au Pair, you can search our database for au pair candidate  and comprehensive view their profiles. In addition, you can complete the family registration application, see Registration. This is free and without any obligation.

If you are considering mediation by us, we make an appointment for an intake. This intake is optional but never free. If you decide that the mediation will be done by us, you sign the mediation agreement and send it to us. Depending on the outcome of the interview we present several au pairs who we feel fit well in your family situation. We hold these au pairs during three days reserved for you. You will receive all contact details of the candidates in order to become more familiar with the candidates au pairs. Once this is done you may take a final decision.

After the final choice for an au pair and acceptance of the match, we will start per immediate with the visa application process. Before the application can be submitted to the IND, the cost associated with the mediation will have to be paid to Holland Au Pair. Following a positive recommendation from the IND, we arrange the ticket and mandatory health insurance. Next, the au pair can collected her visa at the Dutch or the Belgian embassy in their country of origin. After the au pair receives the visa she can commence her journey to her host family.

We assist you in applying for all necessary documents, visas, insurance and flight. We also make the au pair agreement on what is legally required for an au pair placement. Throughout the entire process and the time that the au pair lives with your family, we maintain your single point of contact and provide both the au pair and the family support where needed.

In the event you require per direct au pair, we can process the visa based on a short term au pair stay. This service is only available to customers who have chosen already an au pair for one year with us and is depending availability of our partner agencies.
